Position: Social Media Intern

Location:? We are based in Los Angeles and would prefer someone nearby, but for the right candidate, working remotely would be fine.
Compensation: School credit.? However, for the right candidate, pay and/or equity in the company may be possible in the future.? We are also happy to help with full-time job searches or any career advice for fashion or business!
Hours/expectations: 5-7 hours per week; ~1 hour/weekday required with flexibility on other hours.
Who we are: Tailour is an e-commerce startup creating work-to-weekend apparel designed with women?s body shapes in mind.? The Tailour founders?one of whom has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and the other a degree from Parsons?bring their business smarts and fashion sense to the problem of unflattering work clothing options.? With our first dress collection featuring nine different dresses designed around three tops and three bottoms and a body shape product quiz on tailour.com, you can kiss your unflattering work clothes goodbye.
Responsibilities:
Social media:
? Be available to update Tailour?s Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest for at least one hour each weekday
? Manage an active Twitter and Pinterest presence, finding relevant accounts to follow and interact with.
? Monitor presence on Facebook, monitoring activity and posts.
? Track Tailour progress on Instagram, as applicable.
Blog and website:
? Design graphics and photos for blog and website.
? Write and post 1-2 blog entries per week (timing flexible).
Requirements: The ideal candidate will be excited about fashion, e-commerce and working with a startup. He/she must be a team player, but also be able to work independently and own his/her own work. Experience with Microsoft Office, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Twitter a must. Experience with Photoshop and WordPress a plus.
